Le analisi sul pneumatico oggetto della rottura occorsa a Sebastian Vettel nello scorso GP d’Austria si sono concluse e sono state condivise con Ferrari.
Le poche parti residue del pneumatico, e un confronto approfondito con altre coperture utilizzate in gara, non evidenziano alcun segno di fatica sulla gomma posteriore destra né cedimenti di alcun genere. L’ipotesi è quindi quella di un detrito che potrebbe avere innescato la rottura.

The few remaining parts of the tyre in question, together with an in-depth comparison to other tyres used in the race, reveal no signs of fatigue or structural failure in the right-rear tyre itself.
Consequently, the issue appears to be caused by an item of debris, which led to the breakage of the tyre.
